Deck Description

Nix Cyclops being abused by Rituals and constant casting. Grapeshot is also a win condition.... I guess... Psh.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

How to Play

1. Play the Cyclops
2. Play Rituals
3. Play more things
4. Attack for high amounts with Cyclops.
Extra: Try not to win unless you're using the Nivix Cyclops. Grapeshot and Lightning Bolts are extra burn damage, but, they're not nearly as fun as attacking with a 20+/4 Cyclops.

Deck discussion for Shenanigan Storm!

Throw in Artful Dodge instead of Thought Scour. It may not allow you an extra card, but the flashback makes up for that, and the unblockable gives your Nivix Cyclops the ability to not be chump blocked. Also, I would suggest a Dispel or a Spell Rupture for Rapid Hybridization/Murder/Rebuke or some other shenanigans the other player might pull.

Have you considered Kiln Fiend, Or Nivmagus Elementat? Also Epic Experiement. And Manamorphose are fun in storm decks! And Gigadrowse works ratherwell with each creature

Havent seen Kiln fiend before(just getting into Modern really, Ive been dabbling for a couple months, but, just at locals)
Kiln fiend and Manamorphose are amazing in here though! And they'll both let my Creatures grow! Thank you!

Also last suggestion, Gitaxian Probe since it does the same thing as Peek for either 2 life or a single blue mana I would recommend it over Peek. I have played many U/R(Izzet) Storm decks before and simply find them amusing.

I like peek simply because it's an instant. It can easily be a turn one play, or a small storm on their turn to kill a creature or 2

Ok that makes sense and hard to argue those results.

you do realize gitaxian probe is exactly the same as peek right?-except you can play it for free if you want, which IS what you want to do here. the fact that it is a sorcery is irrelevant. grapeshot is a sorcery so your not doing any storm antics off turn.
the only benefit peek will give you is if your trying to pump and block. but this deck is trying to aggressive, not defensive, so that seems like a terrible play to waste your pump ability off turn.

Im not a a big Modern player, so Im new to most of the cards. I haven't used Grapeshot before, and it spaced my mind that it was a sorcery. Thanks for pointing it out

rite of flame is banned. the only legal modern red rituals that are pyretic ritual and desperate ritual.

nivix cyclops is a alright creature to play in this type of deck, but you would honestly be infinitely better off with guttersnipe in its place, as guttersnipe doesnt even need to attack. he just consistently pummels your opponent with direct damage.

for a short while i had a modern combo deck put together with delver+gutter snipe, backed up up with pyretic ritual, desperate ritual, manamorphose, gitaxian probe, lightning bolt, and lava spike, and while it wasnt the most consistent deck, it could pull off t3 wins pretty easily if it drew the right cards.
