Deck Description

I love Deflecting Palm. Probably my new favorite card.

So obviously, as soon as I learned of it, I had to make a deck with it, and it turns out red/white is really awesome. This is my first deck without a budget constraint, and I'm excited about Gisela.

As with all my decks, the sideboard is cards I was thinking of adding. Feel free to comment with suggestions, as I am still fairly new to deck building, and there are many cards I am unaware of.

How to Play

The idea is to get a bunch of creatures out quick, then use Glory of Warfare and Legion's Initiative to buff them. Since the theme is Deflecting Palm, defend yourself with Boros Fury-Shield and Divine Deflection.

You like Deflecting Palm? Then you may also like Boros Fury Shield :P

That is an interesting difference. I feel like Deflecting Palm is a lot better, even though it can't defend your creatures.

Just remembered something I've always wanted to do: pump the opponent's attacking creature (Brute Force; Titan's Strength) and follow it with Boros Fury-Shield. Maybe when I eventually get a set of Deflecting Palm, I'll revisit the idea.
