Deck Description

This is the first standard deck I built; I drew two Snapcasters from random boosters so it wasn't very expensive, which is why I didn't just go UW. My first FNM is tomorrow, so any advice is appreciated! Especially with the sideboard!

Deck discussion for RU Delver Deck

It looks pretty standard for a UR Delver. Some sweepers in the sideboard to deal with hex proof and token decks might help you out. Maybe some more creatures in the main board instead of all the counter spells can help. Gitaxian Probes are also strong in the decks because they let you know what you need to keep an eye out for with regards to your opponents deck. So I guess my first suggestion for a change would be to swap dissipates with gitaxian probes.
Zealous Conscripts can be a blow out against planeswalker control decks when timed right but is usually best left in the sideboard as well.

I considered Zealous Conscripts but I figured they were pretty high mana for this deck; I'm probably going to sub the Dissiates for Gut Shot or Gitaxian Probe as soon as I can get my hands on them! Thanks for the advice! I'm updating the sideboard now, if you want to take a look at it in a bit, thanks

Is there any real reason I should play Pillar of Flame instead of Galvanic Blast? It seems like Blast is occasionally a bit better, and it's never any worse.

The exile clause is VERY important on Pillar of Flame. Zombies is generally very strong against Delver decks, and Pillar of Flame is a big help against its most important cards, Gravecrawler and Geralf's Messenger.

I would seriously consider adding 3 Augur of Bolas and take out the Think Twice and put the Dissipates in the side-board. With all the Cavern of Souls you'll potentially have 6 dead cards main board. Also a 1/3 creature will hold off any early tokens or manadorks if needed.

23 lands is too much, I would cut 2 or even 3 your deck doesn't need more than 4 mana to operate anyway. Add another Thought Scour, that card is awesome with Runechanters Pike. The other 2 need to be Gitaxian Probes to draw cards.

That makes a lot of sense, the Think Twice was just in because I drew it from a booster so it was "free," and after playtesting I've definitely found the dissipates to be okay but not good enough. I figured Spellskite instead of Augur, but I haven't finalized that part yet. Any specifics on why the Augur would be better?

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=380650 I gave this another shot, this link is to the deck I'll (hopefully) be playing tonight. I just need some tips on the 3 leftover maindeck spots and the sideboard. I'm stuck between three augur of bolas or another thought scour and a couple Probes. The place I play has a pretty heavy zombie theme, some UW delver, and some Pod
