My basic white and blue counter and late game deck, I'm very new to magic so I'm looking for plenty of advice. It's supposed to be a casual deck to play with my friends, so I haven't bothered building a sideboard yet.

Your land base is terrible actually it's set to be incredibly slow having to take back lands or tap lands to play lands you should invest in 4 glacial fortress they tap for blue or white and if you have a island or plain they come out untapped Also you need more bombs with just 2 your going to have a hard time drawing them and if people zap them your in trouble you should look into inkwell leviathan island walk trample shroud Also any bombs you pick should have shroud or hexproof so they are harder to deal with This is a really nice deck for a begginer Check out my standard deck? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=371126

Ahh thanks! I was really confused about how to get my mana normalized, and those were the only commons I could find so far, it sounds like glacial fortress is exactly what i'm looking for. Thanks for the tip on Shroud as well, I was worried about wasting O Rings to counter O Rings on my guys and whatnot.
Instead of Cancel, maybe you should use Dissipate to prevent graveyard shenanigans or Absorb to gain life.
