Deck Description

When I originally started playing commander, I had a pretty shitty elf commander deck using Ezuri as the command. I had pretty terrible cards, and a bunch of creatures were even non-elf. I have been working on this deck for a while now, and I feel like that it's hit a point where only investing in really expensive cards from here on out will benefit it really well. Hell, I could probably sell the Cradle and get those cards but why sell a gift? This deck utilizes the middleton "I want a good number of creatures and enough mana to run you over" instead of going with a seldom token based or heavy mana based strategy. There are a plethora of ways to pull out the elves in the deck and just make them smack you in the face. The only thing I can think of off the top of head is the lack of draw power. I do plan on trying to fit a Mind's Eye and Sylvan Library into the decklist as soon as I get them. Maybe a Greater Good as well, but I feel like the power curve is pretty low in here so it might not be worth it.

How to Play

So, play elves. Win.

Wind Conditions

- Beastmaster Ascension: By the time you play this, you should have a force in play. One attack with 7 creatures turns even a minuscule 7 damage into 36.

- Ezuri, Renegade Leader: He is part of "turn dudes sideways" win condition. Since his ability can be activated more than once, it's not odd for you to activate it 3-4 times. Hard to ignore +12/+12 and Trample creatures.

- Helix Pinnacle: At a time, I had an infinite mana combo in here to use this more effectively. I took it out due to the hate it drew. People can see the combo a mile a way and either shut the turn down, counter, or destroy all enchantments in response. Not worth it imo, but still it's a good win condition since late game you can make anywhere between 20-50 mana easily.

- Triumph of the Hordes: So, you're dead. Yeah, infect is powerful. Especially with Ezuri's ability.
