Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Try to use gobline Fireslinger/spells to get the quest counters.Use (N copies of) Furnace or Raths + (M copies of) Quests, then cast any burning spell on Boros Reckoner.Assume we originally deal 1 damage to Boros, then we would deal 2^(M+N) to Boros instead. And Boros would deal 2^(M+N) * 2^(M+N) = 2^[2M + 2N] to the opponent instead.So, just one card of shock + 1 furnace + 1 quest = 32 damage already!** Edit **Just realized this combo later. You can also bounce damage to another Boros (or more) to get unbelievable effect :D If you need a budget deck, you can replace Boros by Spitemare. It just have one more mana cost.Just a fun math: the most damage from a Shock is 2*2^40 = 2^41 (bounce 4 Boroses with 4 Furnaces and 4 Quests)

I suggest Goblin Arsonist over Rakdos Cackler.I'd also probably take out Hammer for a fast-mana spell like Battle Hymn.
thank you! I stopped playing magic for almost 10 years. My card pool now is very limited. I was trying to find a way to ramp my red mana but realized that it is banned in modern :D I changed to grim lavamancer tho to get more constant shock to supply when I needed. 2 chain reactions might be enough i hope please suggest me other cards if you think it suits my deck well
You could use also something like Vexing Devil or similar, cause the problem with grim lavamancer it's that you must await a turn to use his mana ability
Or another way to obtain a token (that's also sacrificable to make 1 colourless mana) it's Spawning Breath that's fun cause he make also a damage.
*Goes over the maths*OOoooooh I get it. Targeting Boros Reckoner triggers Furnace and Quest a second time. The problem is Quest can only trigger once so the equation should be 2^(M) * 2^(M+N) = 2^[2M+N]
Correct me if I'm wrong. The text said "any source you control". Shock and Boros are under my control, so I think I should be able to get it doubled.

2^41 =2,199,023,255,552 damage. Basically, 1 mana = 2.2 BILLION damage.
Your peak damage is 24^41 via Chain Reaction. This is getting out of hand. My calculator cant handle this much power. Its spitting letters at me now.

and chain reaction deals damage to all of the Boroses, so in that case, each Boros will die before the damage got bounced

you know if you put in boro's charm, you could make your boros reckoners indestructible and bounce the double damage between both of them infinitely and hit for any amount of damage you want haha
You can do that with one Boros Reckoner dealing damage to itself. Boros Charm (WR) and Withstand Death (G) are the cheapest ways to get indestructible.
good point haha, one spell to give him indestructibility and double damage equals huge damage hit
At this point give him life link if you cant make damage, a good way to win it's getting 99999999999 life and then wait until you get the combo in hand :DA good choice could be to put a card that give him life link in side, and you caould use it against an aggro oppo(obviously useless against mill, infect or other wincon)

Yep Boros it's pretty OP used this way, just pay attention at pithing needle and removal
I think pithing needle only disables activated ability. The ability we use from Boros is triggered ability, so it's fine against that. only beware of removal.
And I have to correct my previous comment too....Boros + charm cannot deal infinite damage to a player (but yes, you can gain life infinitely). I need at least one furnace or quest to amplify damage.

I would prob main deck 2 spitemares just for consistency in your combo.
it's already 60% prob that I will get a Boros in my opening hand. And I don't know what to take out. Maybe the dragon fodders.
Id try replacing one fodder and either one lava mancer or arsonist to make room for the two spitemares. That way you still have plenty of blockers and ways to activate the combo.
