Standard Esper Control Deck. Basically a Solar Flare deck but because I cannot afford Liliana of the Veils right now it is just a simple take on Esper Control. It just happens to use Reanimator in it. ------------------------------------------------------- Side Board: Flashfreeze -- Standard Side against Red/Green. Works great against Kessig in particular. Easily replaces Mana Leak when sided in. Nihil Spellbomb -- Amazing turn-1 sideboard against the graveyard based metagame. Splinterfights cry in the face of this 1-drop artifact that has no cost to using its activated ability. Nevermore -- Easy to call out the cards that I don't want to have played against me after siding in. Simple tech choice when I don't want to waste my counterspells against cards there are "multiples" in decks. Surgical Extraction -- Side again against grave-based decks. Or to simply use against Combo Decks or pick out key cards in decks once I counter or kill them away. Great Tech choice that can basically be played for free. Sever the Bloodline -- Used against token decks. The flashback cost also makes it simple to side in just 1 and not having to worry later in the game about having to use it again. Day of Judgment -- In the case that I need that 1 more field wipe. Ratchet Bomb -- Great mass-removal. Deal with both tokens or can deal with enchantments or big creatures. Ghost Quarter -- Side against Inkmoths and Kessigs. It can also be used as a wonderful disruptor. Negate -- An easy counter to other control decks. Can be great against planeswalkers too.
