I can see where you are going :DThere's actually plenty of cards out there that cannot be countered. You might wan't to take a look among the green kamigawa-blocks where there's cards with "channel". You pay mana, and the card has an effect. These probably inspired the less playable bloodrush effects that needs an attacking creature, but gives some great boosting effects. There's also a couple of interresting cycle-cards out there.I can see it's a while since you posted your deck, but if you want to return to it someday you might like my deck, which is R/G and is being used in legacy with some success.
