Ambush viper lets you surprise an enemy creature that's in need of a reckoning and withstand death lets you keep your big baddy around another turn. Bestial menace and Kazandu tuskcaller help gain number superiority and overrun seals the deal late game. Simple math will tell you that 20 life doesn't last long against a trampling crash of elephants.
