How do you deal damage, just with Melira? I like the Melira+Phyrexian Unlife combo though. Also you might want to consider Asceticism instead of Priviledged Position...

You could even try putting in more big creatures that have the 2 life cost option, might synergise well with Phyrexian Unlife?
I have an idea... You can play Devoted Druid and a spell like Hurricane or similar. Infite mana, infinite damage, infinite simplicity. =)
I guess for standard some Apostle's Blessing/Stave off and possibly Canopy Cover could be of use.
