Deck Description

Terrible joke. Nice little deck.

How to Play

isochron scepter plus silence or vapor snag to stall until you can play both keening stone and traumatize. Suggestions? Probably needs some draw cards and maybe something to gain more mana faster.

Deck discussion for Silence. I mill you.

The longer you have traumatize, the less effective it becomes. Personally, I would Run 4 Hedron crabs if you are going to use walking atlas and if you want some card draw use visions of beyond. The silence with the memory erosion is a little counter productive, choose one of those ideas and go with it. Hope this helped!

I'm not running memory erosion I'm just using my sideboard for cool cards I found that I might keep in mind for this deck. Visions sounds good.

The Traumatize/Keening Stone combo is cool. This deck definitely needs a better way to draw cards in order to make sure your Isochron Scepter gets out.

Ponder, Index, Divination .... Uh, Sorry blanking on drawing cards. But there are lots of cards to help you draw fast. Look at some Blue/ Red burn decks, and Blue/ Black mill decks; they will have examples. Too bad it wasn't a Blue/ Black mill because then you could just use Diabolic Tutors and Revelations.

Also if you can get fast drawing in this deck, a Venser's Journal would help.

But I really like your mill deck, been kinda wanting to make one myself. :p Check my Vampire deck out ? :)

Venser's journal is super cool but it costs way too much. If this deck works out the match will be over before I have time to play this.

LANCEOFZOLONG:
Explain your meta and people will be given a good opportunity to tell you what to pluck out or insert!

I play both legacy and modern with a millingdeck (Click my name to see the difference in design) which means that my deck will have to be extremely fast.

Your deck seems to be on the slow side, so I guess it's just a fun-deck.

I can recommend adding noble benefactor if you play against someone with many creatures and few counterspells.
Play the noble, block with it, search for archive trap and laugh when they search as well!

I would get rid of traumatise and put in something like surgical extraction, which CAN be played without having swamps.

I think you meant legality instead of meta. Meta refers to: (a) What is popular (b) What is the current trend in tournaments. This deck contains everything under the sun from standard to vintage... and "Budget" is in the deck tag... so...

Mill works too slow not to have anything to block with... I vote Wall Of Frost or Fog Bank.

The point is to isochron scepter silence every turn so that no spells can be played.

AFLUXNIONS:
The trick is to mill fast enough for them not to beat you to death.

Mill can kill at turn 3 without a combo.

My own designs are getting closer to winning:

My "current legacy mill" was at a large tournament this weekend!
I ranked as number 29 out of 84 players.
At my usual gamingstore I rank as the 16th at having earned most points during the month.
I'm getting closer to my goals ;)

I have recently "discovered" leyline of singularity while searching for 3 sideboard cards for my modern mill.

The leyline will be valuable in legacy as well, because it seriously slows down creaturedecks, and that is something I have been searching for in a long time, and it's not likely to be countered :)

In modern it allmost cripples token-decks, give egg-decks a hell when they play second sunrise, and elfcombo will also suffer a lot.
