You generally only ever want to play a single spell on each of your turns if your dudes are in werewolf form. You can, however, play more than 1 spell each turn if you have an immerwolf and that you're also sure that it's going to live. Otherwise, it is rather simple to play. Just play whatever card that you can afford and the ones that will increase your damage the most. There's SOME strategy with knowing when to play a werewolf spell or just a normal wolf spell (i.e: guessing when the enemy can't play spells on their next turn)
