I am running a similar deck to this one. Try tossing in some Inquisitor's Flails in there. I run them as well as Sphere of the Sun's for ramp so I can get an Obliterator out turn 3, and cast/equip the flail on turn four. People tend to poop themselves when you fling a figurative 10/5 on turn four with trample.
Mainboard the Lashwrithes. They own soooooo hard in mono-black decks like this one. Also, consider dropping Vampire Nighthawk into the deck.
With the forge masters, he wont need the tinker/treasure mage.
