Elite Arcanist + Niblis of the Breath + Silence = complete opponent lockout for 1U per turnCelestial Flare also works to kill an opponent's creature game. Cancel and Dissipate are also great Elite Arcanist targetsSnapcaster Mage would make this deck much better. I am not willing to afford that card.
Ideal Sequence:Turn 1: Plains (Glacial Fortress), passTurn 2: Plains, pass with Celestial Flare mana or cast Niblis of the Urn Turn 3: Island, cast Niblis of the Breath (attack with Niblis of the Urn)Turn 4: Island, cast Elite Arcanist exiling Silence (attack with Niblis of the Urn)Turn 5: Island, do whatever you want. For 1, you can copy Silence, leaving only instants for your opponent to cast, which you can now Cancel or Dissipate. At the beginning of your opponent's turn, you can pay U and tap the Niblis of the Breath to untap Elite Arcanist and then pay 1 to copy Silence on their turn.If you don't get Elite Arcanist, you have tons of disruption to delay until you can get it or just plink away with your Niblis and Phantom Warriors.
