Deck Description

This uses elvaan powers to quickly and cheaply get an army of angels out. Plus some life gain to stall until I can get the combo off.

Deck discussion for Angelic Forces

Please comment and let me know what you think. I am currently thinking about coat of arms for this deck. But I'm not sure if it would fit or what I would take out for it.

Instead of windswept heath add sunpetal grove. One problem with this is you have is you have 3 creatures with a cost of 9, Akroma, Iona, and Reya. While they are clearly great cards, they each cost 3 plains, and you will not necessarily have the mana when you need it. You could take out a forest or 2 to add razorforge thicket.
To answer your question, I think you could take out some elvish visionaries to add coat of arms, just be aware that coat of arms could also help your opponent. It effects all creatures in play.

ok, I like the idea, but the problem is elves usually produce green mana, not white, and your lands are not so much help here either. try adding more dual lands like razorverge thicket. and maybe some birds of paradise, if the only point of mana creatures is to get the Angels out because birds of paradise gets any coloured mana, useful against people using stuff like spreading seas :P. Other than that, this deck has plenty of potential

Thanks for the input guys. I realize the mana isn't axactly geared right for casting angels, but i'm not really trying to cast them really. The plan is the use fauna shaman to find a piper. I usually discard a big angel like akroma. Then get out the piper with asceticism out so its protected. Then use it to get out raya and bring akroma back for beatdown.

I do realize that it can't always go like that so I need to gear my lands better to be able to cast some angels out right in the late game. What do you think about belbe's portal too? This could also help cast my big angels for cheap.
