Can you remove all enemy lands with splinter and liquimentalcoating?

i think the idea with the battle hymn is good but the question is which more expensive creature would fit good into the deck?

I would replace the battleground geist with a drogskol captain and if you like maybe the geist of saint traft

I i will probably not build this deck its just too expensive but i wanted to build a cortol deck. I agree with the counterspells.
