Deck Description

The plains of Innistrad once blessed by the Archangel Avacyn have become unhallowed in her absence. Darkness has ascended and the faith that let us survive has waned. We must fear no evil and walk through the veil of death alone. Jolen-Thraben Cleric

This deck starts out a bit slow, but once it gets rolling, it’s hard to stop. Things start out slowly and on turn two a Suture Priest, Disciple of Griselbrand, or a Skirsdag High Priest come out to play. Turn three Thraben Doomsayer or Lingering souls on the field, because that’s when the fun begins, and definitely with Suture Priest out. Start playing defensively, pumping out tokens, but don’t worry about sacking one with Alter’s Reap, when you have five mana out the field is yours. Don’t worry about blowing the field up.

The conclusion can be something like having a Requiem Angel with a Darksteel Plate attached to her, Angelic Overseer, a small field of humans, and spirits. Blow it up, and choose a human to live, probably Thraben Doomsayer, but if you’ve got a Skirsdag High Priest keep it alive. The field dies, except for one human, every non-token spirit becomes a token spirit because of Requiem Angel. Angelic Overseer is indestructible because a human lives. Tap the Angels to make a 5/5 flying Demon and next turn swing and laugh manically.
