Deck Description

This is my standard W/g Humans deck that I play and enjoy fairly good success (including 1st place wins) with at FNM and PTQs. I would like 2 Sublime Archangel in place of the 2 Restoration Angel. This is one of the fastest decks you can play, with consistent wins on turn 4-5, but it also acts as the control deck against R/B zombies/vampires.

How to Play

Aggro is not always about emptying your hand and turning sideways. This deck is unique because It is very aggressive but doesnt require an overextension to do the damage for a quick win. I have won many games with only a Mayor, Champion and Silverblade on the field. This allows you to use a very effective array of spells (see sideboard) to allow you to deal with your opponent, either by surprise finishing them off with extra damage or having them destroy their own board by swingin or blocking while ou have a combat trick. You need to play as the control deck against R/B, and as the all out aggression against Bant Control. The selesnya mid-range matchups vary based on the particular brew they have and draws/gamestates. knowing what your playing against will help you mulligan well, which is important.

Deck discussion for G/W Humans (standard)

Have you thought about including Loxodon Smiter? That card has helped me a lot while playing my G/W Humans.

Certainly a playable and worthwhile card for this deck. I tend to like Elite inquistitor in place of Smiter because of the First Strike/Vigilence pairs nicely with Rancor and Mayor to win in combat. I like Smiter in Selesnya Aggro decks, but the card plays differently then how I like to run this deck. That is just my personal play style though, and it works well in my meta where most of my opponents are just used to running and playing against cookie cutter decks from the top 8s in PTQs.
