Deck Description

Some friends were trying to figure out how to make a playable Biovsionary deck. Obviously we have Cackling Couterpart and Clone, but few people remember Infinte Reflection. If at any point you have a Biovisionary on the filed and 3 other creatures, cast Infinte Reflection and end trun and you win.

How to Play

You want to ramp and draw as many cards as possible. Usually you should aim to cast thragtusk and clone it as much as possible. Use your Fogs wisely, and a wall of thragtusk and beast tokens should be more than enough to keep you alive. The safest thing to do to be able to get the instant kill without disruption is to flash in Biovisionary at the end of thier turn, then cast infinte reflection on it on your turn, and provided you have 4 creatures you win. Don't be afraid to clone opponents creatures: Infintie Reflection is going to turn everything you control into Biosivionary, so focus on staying alive until you can end it. Of course, sometimes you'll just have an excellent hand and be able clone Biovisionary and win on turn 5, but that wont happen to often. Also, if you clone something like a Hellrider, you may just be able to cast Infinte Reflection on that, and if you swing with 5 Hellriders, welll you basically win the game.

Deck discussion for How to win with Biovisionary

I'm thinking Sideboard should be transitive, so that game 2 you have a different strategy, but I'm not sure the best thing to transform into

Just a suggestion, Back from the Brink is a fairly obscure rare from Innistrad, but it could have use here. Sometimes, they will kill the only Biovisionary you draw, but BftB gives you some added insurance in that situation. By no means a 4-of, but 1 or 2 could help. And casting Thragtusk tokens as well could be fun

Not a bad idea, but the way I play this, my opponent won't know I am playing Biovisionary until I can cast and win within a turn. Game 2 on the other hand sucks, ecause they will slaughter games or nevermore Biovisionary, and then we are in serious trouble. Thats why I would rather just board into something else, like Armada Wurm or Wolfir Silverheart, and focus on cloning some power cards and just crushing.

Great deck, but i'm not sure how you create a 'wall' of BEAST tokens, as there's nothing here to exile and return thragtusk back to the game... Cloning thragtask will only boost you life.. I would also suggest some counter spells since this deck is very vulnerable to board sweepers...

Sweepers create the beats tokens. Dead thragtusk which traded with creatures create the beast tokens. I wouldn't use counterspells against board wipes, seeing as the most played one, supreme verdict, can't be countered. Playing against a control deck is not this decks specialty, and you should side into a different win condition to deal with control.

ok so since when can you cast creatures without flash on your opponents turn? but other then that i like it relies heavy on infinite reflection but still pretty good

Pretty cool deck! Seeing it makes me want to build something similar around Biovisionary. I love Urban Evolution. That's a like from me. Check out my newest deck and let me know what you think?

I like your deck a lot. So much so, in fact, that I made an identical copy to play test and see if it works. Good news! It works. I made some changes that increase its win percentage and thought you might appreciate them:
I took out 2 Cackling Counterparts and replaced them with Conjurer's Closet. This allows you to make a formidable wall of Beast tokens by flickering your Thragtusks and will gain you 5 life at the end of each turn (double this if both are on the field). This leaves 1 Cackling Counterpart in the deck to make another copy of Thragtusk for the life gain and big body, or to make a copy of biovisionary if you had to play it earlier than planned.
Since Thragtusk is getting flickered so much, your life gain will be through the roof and you probably won't care too much about incoming damage. Sometimes I just let the damage through and don't even worry one bit about it. Other times, I double or even triple block with Beasts to kill incoming fatties. No big deal if they die. I'm making 1 or 2 more each turn anyway while gaining 5 or 10 life. I dropped the Fogs and replaced them with Dispell to counter the opponent's counters. Because of this, I pulled out a Forest to put in one more Island.

I really like your strategy of flashing in Biovisionary so I pulled out another Forest and run a third Alchemist's Refuge to make sure its available.

Deadly reculse could help with the turtling. Garruk Primal Hunter also gives you options for card draw and token gen to get to four creatures, I think it's a better fit for the smae mana cost as Urban Evolution (I know its not the same on the wallet though)
