Deck Description

The idea is to have a deck that has serious focus on two win conditions and when they both coincide, then you have have deadly combination which I swear works really well :D

Deck discussion for Angelic Steel

Destiny just seems very slow here... What is it's purpose?

You have no Glint Hawk but you include the Idol? Seems strange, not sure why you wouldn't include both. I agree with joe, Angelic destiny is a brutal card but is it really that helpful in this deck? Also I strongly suggest you run a full 8 of the zendikar fetchlands. They will thin out the mana in your deck for a small price, which will allow you to get useful card draw rather than additional unnecessary mana. *sigh* deckthinning is a myth. If you do the math it is not worth it.

Also, Glint Hawk Idol and Glint Hawk serve very different rolls. I see no problem with the idol, its a great card

running 8 fetches with 18 lands means chances are you'll see very little land, lol.
i used to fiddle with tempered steel a bit, and hitting 4 mana is HARD in this deck. I think angelic destiny is far too slow, as ragged said. 4 mana is just far too expensive. :/

Well, its actually much better than you think, I get to four mana all the time, it must be the cutting and shuffling, but Angelic destiny and Vault Skrige = Baneslayer Angel and you can put it on anything else and its still devastating. I caught a guy off guard with an Angelic Inkmoth for the win :P so its also a very nice lol card, but its also a concentrated win condition, and everyone most likely wants to take out tempered steel as Ive seen, so adding the angelic destiny as another win condition is great :D espacially late game.
