With the right hand, you could play 3 one cost burn spells on turn 2 as opposed to two...or you could play ball lightning on turn 2 and swing for 6...on turn 2!
I just think Pyretic Ritual is underrated...temporary ramp is great for a burn deck that has cheap burn spells...and dealing 6 or more damage on turn 2 is great for a burn deck, as such a deck's philosophy is to burn the opponent down to 0 as quickly as possible...on turn 3, any good deck will have a decent enough blocker for your ball lightning, and about half the damage won't go through...playing it on turn 2 means more of the 6 damage will go through...
hmmm, you make a good point there, ok, I will add it to the side board, and if ever the guy has strong blockers, I will play it in, thank you for the suggestion
arc blade(?), rift bolt. this deck looks like fun
I like the suggestions, and they are good cards, arc blade is a bit too high cost, but rift bolt sounds fun to play :D and thanks for the comment

Hi, as you kindly commented on one of my decks i thought i would have a look at a few of yours. Please feel free to look at my other decks and comment and please click if you like em dude. Now my thought on this deck... with that many red instants etc i would def change the hellspark elementals for kiln fiends. Quicker to cast and if you play your spells when you attack they become massive damage fiends. Greg

well compared to every card here, shock, with only two damage, is practically useless, I mean, forked bolt is also two damage, but you can separate the damage, so I know why you made the suggestion, and I understand, but the practicality of shock is not what Im looking for
Oh wow oh wow oh wow. I've had the same idea for a bit, but your the first one to actually come up with a deck list. Anyway, this deck is blazingly fast and super-aggro. Great deck to have around to show who's boss.

Yea man I like the deck. Lightning is fire in its purist form. I go straight lightning is pretty cool. You do exclude some cards that would help this deck as stated above, but for what it is, its a beast. May a suggest Lightning elemental? It might be a little too costly for this deck though.
I would add him, but he has no trample, and that's one of two requirements which includes haste :P and he has one, but needs trample to be effective no matter what :P But thank you for the suggestion mate, and its nice to find another lightning lover !!! Lightning burn is the best way to burn :D

cheap and fast, does not matter if it's lightning or fire but i do really like lightning bolt one mountain for 3 damage is awesome
Well, Im just very particular with lightning, because I like how they draw lightning in their cards :D and lightning is awesome, been in a lightning storm once and had a very good look at a beautiful lightning strike right in front of my own home. :P
need shocks cause for 1 red get two damage to target player or creature
I'm loving the idea! (Taishakuten-god of thunder) I had started a lightning deck years ago but now I'm gonna put some effort into it. One card that I didn't see was"Elemental Appeal" What do you think about it?Would you use it instead of Skizzik?
