Deck Description

A burn deck that will use artifacts that could burn, as well as a good card that gets really good after metalcraft.

Some cards like Panic spellbomb, is more tactical than something that helps you attack better, just using it and then paying one to draw another card soon after, is good to speed up the draw a little and make it more likely to get the burn.

Comments and suggestions will be appreciated ^_^

Deck discussion for Metalcraft Burn

Very nice!

I would drop the 4x Lightning Bolt for 4x Searing Blaze, especially since you're running enough land that landfall on the turn shouldn't be a big problem, and it would also bring it into standard legality. Also, if available, drop the Melt Terrain from the sideboard, and add 3x Comet Strike, or just add another 2x Melt Terrain to bring the count up to 15.

Best of luck with this deck, looks like it would be an awesome partner / opponent to my Mono-Red Burn & Artifact Breaker deck. << http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=134743 >>

Wow, this is the first time I ever heard a guy say to drop the lightning bolts o.o wow
Thanks for the comment, but Lightning Bolt is still legal, and searing blaze is more likely to go out of fashion compared to Lightning Bolt. And I cant add more melt terrains because I already have 3 in the deck, but finding two random cards shouldn't be too hard. :P

Thats what I get for not paying attention to what. is in the deck compared to the sideboard. I didnt think I saw Lightning Bolt reprinted in M11, but I might have missed it.

Looking at it, Arc Trail is nice, but since Lightning Bolt did get reprinted, Id drop that for the Searing Blazes, simply because landfall isnt that much of a problem in a mono color deck, and it dual targets just like Arc Trail. Might think about making the Searing Blaze your 2 addition to your sideboard, even if you dont replace the others in your deck for some added burn, is always nice.

Well, you missed out a bit, I nearly did myself, but a Christmas miracle helped a lot with that :P
4 lightning bolts right in front of me and it only cost around 4British pounds for the whole set, it was a really good deal
