Deck Description

Like the title suggests, its a deck with all one cost and no creatures and stuff, just lands and spells, this should be fun. Even has very fun spells like Mana Clash, a very enjoyable card to play.

Comments are very much welcomed and appreciated

But those comments about why I put galvanic blast in there, well that is 2 damage no matter how you debate it, and 2 damage is as good as no damage.

ohh now I see, yes, that card can be a problem when it plays, but if it doesnt, the game can still be won

Yeah but that's the bane of any straight burn deck.... and many other decks such as mill.

I only know of two cards for a mono red deck that can destroy Leyline of Sanctity:

Anarchy and Nevinyrral's Disk

Well its mostly for fun, and unless the blue spells are all counter, its still a 50/50 game of chance, like all card games, so this has some chances of winning, so dont count this out yet ;P

does everything have to be one mana cost? just for functionality, i think Demolish would be good for this deck :D

Well actually the deck was made to utilize mainly one cost cards, but I get what your saying, having more variety in the deck is important, but this is not actually made to be competitive, its made to be fun ^_^

With only one mana spells you might lose some lands. Or you could add some spells that cost land/mountain to sacrafice instead of paying their mana cost like fireblast or thunderclap. Or for instant crash wich lets you destroy a artifact...

not a bad idea, ok, I would try that, thank you for the suggestion

Even though it's not a spell, Goblin Guide would be amazing! And it's 1 mana so you wouldn't be breaking youe theme

I dont have goblin guide, and although it would be really useful, and it may stick to the one cost theme, the deck is meant to be spells only, but I would add that to my other decks if I ever get a set of those.

I know it isn't quite as versatile as most spells, but lava spike is not a bad card for a one drop.

its a one drop, that needs more mana, its not a good one for this deck

put in 4 x seething song just to speed up the damage dude and as with many of the red decks kiln fiends are awsome

Yeah but Kiln fiend cost 2 mana, and its not the focus of the deck

20 lands is too much for a 1 mana cost spells (I used 18 in a Goblin with several 2 and 3 mana and works just fine). I'd cut it down a few lands and Add Inflame, is 1 mana as U like, and very usefull with some of your spells.

I know it doesn't fit your theme of 1 drops, but Pyromancer Ascension would fit the burn theme nicely. Since you're using 1 drop burn spells, the ascention should get the required counters on quickly.

Magma Spray over Galvanic blast or Shock. Crush for sideboard? Burning Inquiry just to mess with people.

Looks good. Personally if its a 1 cast deck u can add in some artifacts that can help with galvanic blasts metalcraft. Also it might be possible to get away with reducing your land count due to a non existent mana curve, that way u can add in even more 1 cast spells. Other think i could mention is adding in any colorless 0 cast items that also can mess with ppl. Even if you face any decks that can shut down a burn deck, i think they did print red cards to counter act them. Only real problem is the white leyline imo

Rite of flame as a red dark ritual maybe?

And for sideboard theres a red card thats the opposite of flash floods but i cant think what its name is but i know that it is 1 mana blue color hate

Thunderclap in a one-cost deck is totally cheating. ;-)

Slightly more seriously, you might drop Unstable Footing for Grim Lavamancer. There isn't a whole heck of a lot of damage prevention that people actually play these days.

after rummaging through about 20 decks to see what I could do to help you out, I came up with this. You don't have so much defense which is typical for burn decks so why not put a creature in there thats free to you is a 3/2 w/ haste. Look up the card Oxidda Golem. the only other card I could think of to help you is Pyrite Spellbomb.. If you are playing against another burn deck, any creatures you put out will likely be the same as direct dmg spells when you attack. You did specify that this was a spell deck. Creatures are spells. and if you needed to buff any of them up incendiary is really cheap build up. Check out my black lifedrain deck and tell me what you think. I'm trying to find some low cost black spells/creatures . Any help would be appreciated.
