The life total of your opponent who is mana screwed with no board will go down like that, but with other creatures creating different board conditions, it is possible to win against other random games. The side board is basically for other aggro decks with the exception of the one card (Slaughterhorn) that is basically a counter control card that pushes for game earlier, maintaining a 5 turn clock regardless.
