Just detain the crap out of everything. EVERYTHING. If the game goes long, Peel From Reality and Fall of the Gavel should help a bit.

I don't know if it has a place in this deck, but Archaeomancer is pretty hilarious with Peel from Reality.

LOL .. same thought! In one of my decks I used Unsummon/Archaeomancer with Talrand to summon 4-5 drakes in 2 turns.. the look on my friend's face .. LOL
Cyclonic rift might be better than fall of the gavel for long games. Counterspell for 5? Eh... Win for 7? Nothing wrong with that...And if the rift is too much mana, blustersquall works just as well if you're going to win that turn anyway.
True, very true. I'm trying to keep this thing pure Azorius just for flavor, but if I ever actually build it I'll probably swap out the counter for Cyclonic Rift.

Nice deck! Stuff like Restoration Angel and Cloudshift are crazy good for Detain, but Restoration Angel is way out of my price range...

Right on, I really like this deck. I think i personally would throw in 2 Sublime Arcangels & 2 Rootborn Defenses (mostly them because i get up against people using Supreme Verdict like its going out of style lol 0
