Fathom Mage. God she's great. UG is great already, and she really brings the best of both to the table... so what better way to show my appreciation than by horribly exploiting her abilities? The deck is heavily based on Fathom Mage, but I found room for some cards that I just love on principle. Simic Sky Swallower is an awesome finisher, and Stormtide Leviathan is crazy underrated. And Crocanura... it's a Crocodile Frog. Guys, it's a Crocodile Frog. You can't beat that. Ring of Evos Isle is probably a better option that Ring of Kalonia for the sake protecting your mage, RoK is just a personal choice.
Ramp up to a T3 Fathom Mage and go to town. In a perfect world she's your card advantage and your big fat finisher, but she's gonna soak up hate like no other... so Evolution Charm will help you dodge blockers and bring back your special ladies. Simic Manipulator + Increasing Savagery steals just about anything you want, and your defenders hold off enemy critters and help evolve the Mage. If everything goes to shit, hopefully you drew your Aetherize!
