Burn at the Stake is an interesting win condition, how often do you find yourself hitting the terminal seven creatures for that win condition? I understand it's trivial post-EtW, but I'd be more concerned with how it acts /without/.

I think I may have to go up to three copies of Battle Hymn after seeing this. Not certain though, as it's a tad situational, even with Young Pyromancer since I'm using Infernal Plunge.

I had used burn at the Stake for a while back when i was testing Young Storm lists, but i think i like Goblin Bushwacker the best as a win-this-turn card for the deck. He is just more versatile and still ends the game just as easily.

I'm not sure how i feel about Epic Experiment here though. it seems really just win-more, and pretty unnecessary. That space could be used much more efficiently.

This sideboard is a mess also. You really want Bloodmoon because it slays a ton of decks. You want either some Counterspells, or Defense Grid. You really need 2-3 Echoing Truth. And you're also gonna want something for Affinity; either Shatterstorm, or Shattering Spree.

okay. Goblin bushwhacker is interesting, but I have had games where I get just enough creatures to kill them with burn at the stake where bushwhacker wouldn't do enough. I think the burn does have to target which can be a problem but needs less resources to kill allowing a much fast game. Epic is an great card in this list. It is basically a draw x cards and add a ton of storm. It give reach to combo or even just to start the chain. And if you can(( and it isn't to hard) you can experiment for your deck and just win when you can just fizzle because otherwise you would have run out of cards. I don't know about the shatter spree because both pyroclasm and eletrolyze are great in the match and bolt is still good. those cards seem to just be too slow when I'm just trying to stall a few turn so that i can win. I agree with the truth it a pain to play against a rule of law type card. Blood moon is interesting but I have notice that this deck has some trouble with its mana fixing. I don't want to search for too many basic because it could just ruin me. Thanks for the comment thought, I must have forgot about echoing truth.

I don't think your running enough basics in here since most modern decks are running either Ghost Quarter, Blood Moon or Paths . I also think you need some counters like Remand, Spell Pierce or Mana Leak in your sideboard along with 2 copies of shattering spree. To finish I have to say Pyromancer Ascension will put this deck over the top.

I'm a little skeptical on too many basics. This deck is pretty mana hunger. I'm fine with ghost quarter because I try not to fetch to many basic my life doesn't matter too much. Paths are okay. I think that game one they are much better vs me because game two I side out most my creatures vs a removal deck. Blood moon is trouble for this deck but I can be faster then it. I don't really like counter in the board that cost to much mana. They can clog up your hand in some matches and I would rather it just be a combo piece to speed my up. I like pact because it is free and can get you game you normal would loss. I don't like shattering spree. Eletrolyze is really good against affinity and bolt is still good and my plan for affinity is just to race them. and if i dilute my deck to much playing them then I can't combo nearly as fast. Plus eletrolyze is a more versatile sideboard slot. I like pyromancer Ascension but one of the key piece to add speed to the deck is young pyromancer which is in the slot for the ascension. Battle hymn can just come done and make a huge amount of mana and allows you to keep moving along your combo. Ascension is good but I like pyromancer plus hymn better. If seething song was unbanned then ascension would just be strait up better.

You really should run more basics, and run Blood Moon in your board. Moon is storms best chance at beating control. Limiting their blue sources so they can't counter every attempt to play an engine. Also ritualing into a t2 Moon will just outright beat a lot of modern decks. All storm decks are running Blood Moon in the side, and yours should be no exception. I've ran as many as 4 islands maindeck, and as little as 3. You are holding yourself back by not running Moon.
