Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (15 cards)

Creatures (6)

Sorceries (1)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I designed this deck by combining the best midrange advantage and aggro cards in the format. Especially cards that can drastically change the gamestate.

Mana works, especially with all the dual fetches and Birds/Hierarchs. Sejiri Steppe is there as a trick using KotR's ability. If you are still worried about mana, play Borderland Ranger.

Some people prefer Borderland Ranger instead of Rhox War Monk.
Some people prefer Bant Charm over Brave the Elements.
Some people perfer Dauntless Escort over Knight of the Wild Hunt.

I like this list better than the others I've seen. But feel free to copy this build or make variants.

StarCityGames.com prices the deck at $891.86 before tax. With no foils! Ridiculous! And this is just for Standard (Type 2). This is why I use MWS...

Comments, please! I will answer any questions! I'd be glad to hear your take on the deck!

Deck discussion for A$$ Money a.k.a. GW+ Threat Density.dck, Dark Bant, or 4 Color Advantage

Not bad. And when I say that I mean: No SHIT its not bad. You put the best bant cards i can think of into one deck. The two things i saw in this deck that worried me were the very few forests / plains to work w/ knight of the reliquary, although i would assume they work fine with the fetch lands in here. The other is the high number of Planeswalkers in here. I have personally never used a planeswalker nor played against one, that said it is hard for me to judge their use in a match. What i really question is the use of the mindsculptor in here. four mana for a ponder per turn and a card that only appreciates 5 turns later?

How rich are you..?
Aha, but niice.

Maybe Zealous Persecution is a good addition, instead of the Brave the Elements? Because Brave doesn't help all your creatures. Trust me, ZP are deadly useful.

I would take out the Rhox War Monks for Vampire nighthawks. Much more deadlier than a 3/4 Lifelinker.

Definitely like this deck. A lot. It reminds me of my friends deck, but unlike yours his is 5 colors, with Broodmate Dragon, Baneslayer Angel, and Sphinx of Jwar Isle (his only creatures.)

@ Talkyn, Planeswalkers give you a free spell every turn. They also have options. Jace can unsummon 2 creatures every 3 turns if he needs too. Or he can draw 3 cards and I put 2 from my hand back. If I then crack a fetchland, the top of the deck changes, and his ability gets really good again. So it doesn't need 5 turns to "appreciate". Or, I can look at my opponent's top card and choose to remove it if it is good. Or leave it if it is bad. This card denial really hurts the opponent, especially end game.
Elspeth gives a 1/1 token (which can save your a$$) or pumps +3/+3 and flings a creature into the sky (for the win, hopefully, or a lot of lifegain).

@charvitar I own about $40-60 worth of this deck, lol, and mostly lands, uncommons, and 1-of rares. I have a friend who, with my contribution, has everything but the Jaces and a few cards here and there. ZP is nice, but the creatures that I really care about are white. Nighthawk has BB in his requirement. Do-able, but I'd need another untapped black mana source to pull with KotR. Maybe Drowned Catacomb instead of Glacial Fortress.

@Marlo12345 The beauty is in the acceleration. This deck can go:
T1 Forest, BoP/NH
T2 Plains, KotR
T3 Plains, Tap 3 mana, use KotR's ability, fetch a plains, tap it and cast BSA.

In standard, I'd rather drop Emeria T3, crack KotR's ability for a fetchland, and crack the fetch to get a 3/3 flier and 2 1/1 fliers. Because BSA dies in standard if you drop her into play Turn 3.

The real beauty of the deck is its ability to cast threat after threat. If the opponent can't deal with every single threat, they lose. And with 6 token producing dudes, acceleration, and 7 lifelink creatures, this deck can survive against fast aggro decks like Boros.

Nice and expensive. Very expensive. I'm playing Magic since Tempest and I think that Standard is more expensive than ever.
