Deck Description

I'm looking to create an Izzet ¿midrange? deck that controls the board in the early turns and then start playing a more aggressive game on turns 4-6 with dragons that triggers ETB effects or tax in some way the removals thrown at them.

How to Play

The plan is control the board on the early game with removals and countermagic, then start playing dragons one at a time, after you played one the idea is that you don't need to play more, unless you're completely sure you're not facing a wrath effect and/or can/must take a lot of advantage from Scourge Of Valkas, when you have a threat, you protect it.

Silumgar's Scorn is most of the times a Counterspell, with 10 dragons on the deck you have a 74% chance to open with a dragon on your hand, if you play a Serum Visions on T1 the chances to have a dragon by T2 rise to 86% (This is mostly the reason for why I wanted to create this deck) (this calculation also applies to Draconic Roar becoming a Searing Blaze)

Wandering Fumarole is to be tested.

Crucible of the spirit Dragon: If you can start charging this on T2-3 you can drop a 4CMC dragon on turn 3, I've also once casted a 5 CMC dragon on T5 while leaving mana open for counterspell.
It can also be used to give +X/+0 to Scourge of Valkas or to pay the monstrosity of Stormbreath Dragon, I haven't been able to play the last one.

Why those dragons?
They are big, all hit more that 4, and all have evasion, only one of them resists less than 4 damage.

Icefall Regent: To play at least one blue dragon... while he dies at Lightning Bolt it will be at a 3 CMC Bolt, it can control a creature that can't be killed with damage. (I think he is replaceable for a more competitive build)

Mirrorwing Dragon (currently removed): I think that dealing with this guy is a problem for aggressive decks. (I think he is replaceable for a more competitive build)

Scourge of Valkas: Love this one, his ETB effect will at least ping your opponent or kill a pesky X/1 before being traded 1x1, if left unattended he can be very scary.

Snapcaster Mage: Amazing dragon for sure! he is just too good to be left out.

Stormbreath Dragon: Flying hasty 4/4 that can't be "pathed" a Monstrosity as it is.

Thunderbreak Regent: 4 CMC 4/4 flyer that bolts the face of anyone daring to face him, gimme four please!

Thundermaw Hellkite: 5 CMC 5/5 hasty flyer, I fell in love with his ETB against junk when he killed 4 Lingering Souls simply by staring at them.

Current matches "record":
2 Matches against Junk 2-0 (4-2)
2 Matches against Affinity (a budget version) 2-0 (3-1)
1 Match against Bogles 0-1 (1-2)
2 Matches against Skred 2-0 (4-2)
1 Match against Tron 1-1 (2-2)
1 Match against martyr proc 0-1 (1-2)
2 Matches against Jeskai Control 1-1 (3-2)
1 Match agains 8-rack 0-1 (0-2)

I'd like suggestions on how to make it more competitive on the current Modern Metagame, if' it's even possible.
