I've been working on this deck for a while now, and thought I'd might go ahead and post it. Since I first created it I have chosen to move away from Delver of Secrets and focus even more on the casting of spells. This gives the deck a huge aggressive potential, but at times it can be a bit shaky.The main plan is obviously to get a Kiln Fiend out and get it huge by casting all the "free" Phyrexian Mana spells. In case a Kiln Fiend is not drawn, there are a couple of other aggressive options: Nivmagus can get huge fast aswell, at the cost of countering your own spells, and the board can be filled by tokens from Young Pyromancer (creates the tokens even if the spell is countered, so can combo with Nivmagus Elemental a bit).The optimal starting hand would be: Land producing red mana, Kiln Fiend, Simian Spirit Guide, 2 mutagenic growths and an Assault Strobe (+one extra card). By exiling Spirit Guide on turn one to cast Kiln Fiend, a turn 2 win is actually possible - not completely unheard of in Modern, but kinda rare.With the Nivmagus Elemental the deck stands up nicely against control - if they counter your instants/sorceries, you just counter it yourself and get +2/+2 for free. The sideboard is still under construction, but basicly it adds more control through spells that lose me life - thoughtseize/surgical extraction/gut shot - which is why I went for Death's Shadow.
