When new sets are spoiled I always manage to fall back into the pit of Mill. This time the pit were in the standard format, and built around the feasty UB god, Phenax. The deck has three win cons - Mill , Maze's End or smash face with the gods, and a fourth with Crackling Perimeter in sideboard. In the agressive current standard a bunch of protection is needed, and some control spells along with the defenders are perfect for the job.The few non-Gate lands are there mostly to get Sylvan Cyryathid out on round 2, and from there on it keeps on rolling.With Axebane Guardian this deck can create huge amounts of mana, perfect for Sphinx's Revelation!The sideboard is built to hate on gods, futher protect me, for example against mass removal (Golgari Charm), and more removal with extra Aetherizes.
