Yea, they break the bank but if you have other low drop equipment that do ok abilities, you could replace them and be just fine. If you can try to keep sword of vengeance, it is really cheap but really good.

Running Sphinxes Revelation, Ponder, or Brainstorm wouldn't be bad ether.
