Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Experimental build for a Crown/Scepter/Throne setup that uses them as synergistic control instead of the win condition. Use Etherium Sculptors to drop your artifacts earlier, especially Master Transmuter, who will then basically play your bigger artifacts (or your artifact lands!!) for one blue mana, and then you can drop the bounced artifact back for next to nothing. With the exception of a few cards, everything is an artifact or artifact creature so the synergy is very high for metalcraft and artifact-matters. Low costing artifact creatures allow you to stave off aggro or start your own until your control engine is in place. Phyrexian Metamorph gives you massive utility, while Solemn Simulacrum and Impaler Shrike grant you card advantage. Darksteel Juggernaut is a control-resistant, though not fool-proof beatstick to keep the pressure on. A few counterspells round out the defense of the deck. Affinity would be strong in this deck but I am trying to stay away from it, as the point is the unique control flavor of the Empire artifacts. I feel the Etherium Sculptor/Master Transmuter combo fills the role well enough while also giving board presence in a pinch. If the opponent is heavy on the anti-artifact, sideboard out the Juggernauts and add Darksteel Forge instead, which should be easy to cheat into play. Finally, Adaptive Automaton turns your soldier tokens (or your artificers or constructs) into a serious threat, while still synergizing amazingly with everything. Work in Progress. Comments and playtest feedback appreciated. Also, if anyone has suggestions for a completely Standard-legal version or a cheaper alternative, please do so.
