It's 7 counters and an unblockable 3/1... rather huge difference.

Preordain is a lot better than Ponder to me. Whatever's coming you're still stuck with it with Ponder, with Preordain, you just toss them on the bottom of your library and try yourself at something new.

Hey, nice thread. Guess i'll join the party.
Favorite card would be Bribery. It won me my very first game of magic and so it just sticked.

1) Where's the username from? Depending on the story, maybe not too much details? Haha. ;)
2) Ketchup, mustard or relish?
3) Why did Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Im glad i could be of some help. Also happy you have realised just how powerful Livewire Lash can be in an infect deck. It's a game winner by itself sometimes/most of the time.

Keep up the good work.

Great deck.

To comment on previous comments about Livewire lash. I've been running an infect deck for some time with Livewire lash, and i don't see how it doesn't at least deserves a sideboard presence. If you play against Red, black and even White or Blue, you will most likely be the target if spells from your opponents more often then not. Plus, if you play stuff like Giant Growth, Groundswell, Unnatural Predation, Primal Below, etc, it just means more damage/poison counter on the opponent since it's the monster that does the damage with Livewire Lash. Livewire Lash on a monster with deathtouch is also a killer, in case you start playing with black or Basilisk collar, it is a ridiculous combo. This card literally won me matches by itself when my opponent tried to lock me down. I'd just keep playing my instant on my monsters without even having to attack. To me, Livewire Lash is a must in any infect deck, and a much better card than the infiltration lens. The lens won't give you a win by itself, the Lash will.

Also, in a stompy deck where you want your mana efficiency to be perfect, to me, it seems garruk would do a better job than Overwhelming Stampede. Sure stampede can nail out more damage, but it cost 1 more to play and doesn't give you a mana ability if need be. Garruk does give you overrun the turn after it's cast, the possibility to mana accel if need be or to add a creature. I find the card to be a lot more flexible for the deck than Stampede.

I'd play Birds of Paradise over Llanowar elves or Arbor Elf for the flying block in case you need it. Let's face it, you have nothing to kill monsters, if your opponents goes flying with a bit of control, you will most likely die.

Viridian Corrupter is also a very nice sideboard choice, it's a great infect monster by itself, and with the swarm of artifact decks out there, it's just great when playing mono green. Naturalize is fine, but this one does the job and also help you with infect after.

If you really plan on using the lens, i'd go with Turntimber Basilisk or Tangle Angler personally, with a Giant growth or a Groundswell on it can be very bad for weenie decks and if it's equipped with the lens, well you have yourself a full hand again. Basilisk collar also works very well with it (tangle angler). With all your landfall, Turntimber Basilisk is a board sweeper and with the lens, it's simply scary.

I like the deck but i think it needs more flexibility, as it is, it seems to me it's either a ''i win in 2-4 turns or lose in 4-5 turns''. At least in the meta from my region it's what it would be.

For Oren-Rief the vastwood, i find it very slow since your deck seems to be a very quick win condition deck. I do understand why your playing Harrow, if it only really works with 5 cards in your entire deck, it's a waste of three mana. Especially if you play garruk for mana stability. In a quick deck like yours, i find Giant Growth to be a much more valuable card.

My changes would be as follow:

-2 Stampede
-4 Arbor Elf
-2 Infiltration Lens
-2 Oran-Rief, The Vastwood
-4 Harrow

+2 Livewire Lash
+2 Garruk Wildspeaker
+4 Birds of Paradise
+2 Misty Rainforest
+4 Giant Growth

My sidedeck would be:

3x Turntimber Basilisk
3x Veridian corrupter
3x Naturalize
3x Harrow
3x Infiltration Lens

Just my two cents, but very nice idea for a deck. Love it. +1

Verdant catacombs and Terramorphic expanse (slows you down a bit for terramorphic) are both 2 in 1 for your big creatures. Lotus cobra is a card that works really well in this deck too. Oracle of Mul Daya seems to slow you down here more than anything. The land ocunts seems a bit high to me, past 28 lands, it just seems to me your going to draw lands again when you'd really need something else.

Your using unearth for the pawn of ulamog alone? Sounds pretty stiff to me.

While i do understand that Sadistic Sacrement can be useful, especially with Eldrazi's out, i'd never consider running a 3 black mana card in a 2 color deck that require quick milling. Especially if you don't play any kinds of fetchlers. Nemesis of Reason is far superior to it for this deck in terms of efficiency. Also, i'd sideboard the Archive trap, if your opponnent doesn't search his library at all, it's 13 cards in the graveyard for 5 converted mana cost. Tome scour is 5 cards in the graveyard for 1 mana.

I'd also suggest running less Haunting Echoes, the chances you'll draw more than one are high with 4 in the deck, and after the first one, well, it's really not that useful anymore (if you didn't win already).

Finally, to me, Deprive is a better card than Dispel and/orEssence scatter. The reason being that it counters anything and that it returns a land to your hand, which makes a good synergy with the Hedron Crab later on when you have no lands in hands.

Nice deck though, i like it.

Nice deck. Though i'll add that the Sigil Captain is a must in those decks.

Walls of Reverence could be an idea for you. It has 1/6 flying and the archon effect each turn, it's also going for a decent price as of late. It would slow the deck down a bit though.

The reason why he is using Llanowar elves over Noble hierarch is because it's an elf, while the nobles are human druids. The nobles won't get the buffs from the Warcallers or the Archdruids, which defeats the whole purpose of the deck.

I'd play more than one Nissa Revan though, against many deck, she won't last long, and you may never draw her to, and trust me, in those decks, she's a must.

I like the Naya allies build but i don't know why you'd be playing it without the pyromancer. The guy is so useful in various situations. It's almost a monster removal each turns after turn 3 if he's on the field and you drop an ally.

Nice deck, there is only one change i would do. I would change Glorious Antheme for Marshal's Anthem. The reason being that once you have several allies out with Harabaz Druid, or in the late game, it's very easy to kick it even several times, which can be a game breaker for your opponent depending on what you bring on the field and what is on the field.

Finally an exalted deck that make sense..

I'd trade the Bant Battlemage for 2x Jhessian, the Cancel for 4x Silence. I'd also take out 2x Giltspire Avenger, 1x Rafiq and 1x Rhox War Monk and put in 4x Noble Hierarch (depending on your budget). Silence is one of the key card in an exalted deck, buy you time, which is all you need. I'd remove the Ardent Plea, but that's just me. It's useful, just not as much as the other cards i mentioned. I'd most probably take out the remaining two Giltspire Avenger and play 2 Aven Squire, this card is very helpul again a lot of decks.

Quasali Ambusher is a definite sidedeck and a possible main deck at times. But definatly side them, you will be able to put them on the field a lot more than you may think (without paying it's actual cost) and it helps against Vamps and such.

I really like the Walls in an exalted deck, great idea. Unsummon is another interesting option.

Great deck as is, don't be mistaken by my comment. Just my two cents. +1.
