Lifelink + Things that deal damage to everything... Ok, so what you do is you throw down a bunch of one drops to begin with, eventually you'll get something you want like crypt rats or pestilence demon, once you have a creature like that throw a vampiric link and a blessing of leeches at it quick like, from there every mana you spend will gain you a net of at least two life (assuming it is the only creature on the field it will deal 1 to you, one to your opponent and one to it, 3 damage total, the damage dealt to you neutralises itself due to lifelink and from there you gain the remaining two life.) To sweeten the deal you can use scythe of the wretched to start stealing stuff and black market to ramp your mana to insane heights... The only annoying thing is that you have to re-equip the scythe each time you kill something, though if done strategically this isn't a huge loss.
