Deck Description

Just my casual deck using various enter/leaves the battlefield effects and then Venser and similar cards to flicker them.

Very good in multiplayer and double headed formats. Synergy doesn't even begin to describe the relationship Venser has with Nevermaker, effectively locking out a player from drawing cards for the rest of the game. Stonehorn Dignitary denies an opponent a combat step, and Reality Acid can be flickered to munch on their lands.

A janky and unpredictable infinite turn/silence combo lies in the depths of this deck, but it rarely happens and is merely a nice surprise when it does. Venser flicker the Mnemonic Wall to return Walk the Aeons, or Silence to your hand, cast and repeat.

The Avarice Totem is also something that rarely works, but can catch opponents offguard in a large multiplayer setting if they're not paying attention. Pay 5 mana to switch the totem and whatever juicy permanent you like the look of, and then Venser flicker the totem, as Venser allows you to flicker permanents you OWN, you don't have to control them. However, if they have 5 mana available, they can activate the totem before you flicker it. Worst case scenario is that this 1 mana artifact forces them to keep 5 whole land untapped at all times, which is still something that works in our favour.

In an ideal world where I don't have budget constraints, the Avarice Totem would be a Gilded Drake, and the Walk the Aeons would be Time Warps. I'd probably find a spot for an Isochron Scepter or two, and up the count of the Silences and Counterspells. I'd have a few more Glacial Fortress too. I like that I don't have 4 copies of everything, as I like to have a bit of unpredictability to my draws in a multiplayer casual game, it makes things more interesting that way.

Deck discussion for Venser LOVES Nevermaker

Since you like the unpredictability im not going to suggest what you should double up on instead ill suggest some new cards
Cloudshift is extra way to flicker as is ghostly flicker, Sunblast angel is a fun card to flicker as they'll be afraid to tap they're creatures for the rest of the game
Mist raven or Aether adept are fun cards to flicker every turn as you'll keep bouncing creatures back to people hands
