Deck discussion for Aura Deck (Kor Spiritdancer)

I am building something similar. Wasn't considering Planeswalkers, but now that I see yours, Instead of Garruk, have you considered Elspeth? indestrucible enchantments? Also I am running a couple of open the vaults which is way cheaper for pulling the EC into play than waiting till turn 10 to cast it. If you are not running open or even sovereigns of lost alara, then consider Gigantiform. 5 mana casting cost is much easier to get out sooner and would have a greater impact in mid game.

Garruk is incredible for this deck, as he allows me to play him on turn 4, then use his ability to put another Kor Spiritdancer into play. If your creatures are strong enough, follow up with his overrun ability and that usually ends it. He also puts chump blockers/extra attackers into play, as well as sacrifice fodder, which when you have only one huge Kor Spiritdancer, is devastating. Elspeth would be very powerful, especially making your permanents indestructible (wow). But, being the budget player I am, I'll stick with Garruk. I'll make note of Elspeth vs Garruk. I'm also not sure if 3 Day of Judgments will be worth it or not. The chance that I draw one in a game when I don't have my combo running is significantly increased, but then when I do have the combo running, I'll be drawing more cards than I know what to do with, so I might end up sitting with 1-2 DoJ in my hand. Also, this deck is so incredibly vulnerable to mill, I don't think there is anyway to avoid it though, other than only drawing cards when absolutely necessary.

Pacifisms will activate dancers and gnarlids where journeys won't.

A creature that is pacified can still tap for abilities, activate it's own abilities, and be sacrificed/the target of spells, while an exiled creature cannot. That is why I chose JtN over Pacifism. If I'm using either of those for creature control, I want the card that locks down a creature.

12 creatures? i've been playing an aura deck since i got into magic and I know for a fact that 12 creatures in an aura deck leaves you scrambling for things to enchant all the time. Put more creatures in there, like auratouched mage, or nomad mythmaker, and then stick a couple of Three Dreams in there. Don't rely on Garruk in an enchantment deck... you COULD get him out 4th turn, but it wouldn't matter if you're opponent already has 2 or 3 creatures out, he'd be dead.
