Liquimetal is better with Green or White for destroy artifact... For example: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=123362 This is mine... try with green cards
I've tried and have a few decklists on my profile, Blue works out much better for consistency/other control over the game.
That and mine is also Standard T2.
