Deck Description

Budget Goblin-Burn-Aggro is back in Standard, and this is how I am running what will probably be a very popular deck. I have a feeling we will see more goblins in the upcoming core set, as well as the follow-up to Dominaria., which will open this up to more customization.

The original version of this deck, "$10 Goblins" by SBMTG, skipped the Chainwhirlers and Banners, but included 1 more of each of the shock spells and 2 more mountains. The cost increase really isn't much, but I already had the cards on hand.

I am also leaning towards swapping in 2 Rigging Runners in place of 2 Warchiefs. Although having haste is nice, there isn't much here other than Siege-Gang to take advantage of the mana cost reduction, while a potential 3/3 with first-strike for 1 mana is pretty good.

How to Play

I like how Skirk and Wily can help to ramp into a turn-3 Banner if you are lucky enough to have it in your hand. The card draw really takes this deck to the next level, and I'm tempted to run 3 or 4 of them at the expense of some mountains.

After the goblins start coming out, it's really just a lot of turn & burn.
Got to love a cheap deck that's easy to play while still being effective.
