Also, I've made a Nephilim Deck based on Guildgates for Hold the Gates. http://www.mtgvault.com/lycandros/decks/nephilim-at-the-gates/

I like it, love the use of the Nephilim. Though..the white bordered Kird Ape puts me off for some reason...

The more I look at this deck the more I love it. That the big creatures can be subbed for other nasty stuff easily depending on your play style is great fun.

Thanks, saw the Skyhunters, saw they were Cat Knights and just had to build a deck around them. Didn't feel like a deck that needed tricks or removal theme wise either.

You have a lot of nice exploitable creatures but only one exploit creature. Why is that?

World at War, Relentless Assault, and/or Hellkite Charger would be baddass additions. And I love Roar of Challenge.

I really like this deck. Wish Auntie's Hovel wasn't so expensive, fits so well with the theme.

10 I believe, I remember building a Red/Black deck of only sorceries and liability and enjoying that one. Engulfing Flames and Infest a lot. Scorching Missile and Soulfeast only late game when they were casting other things. Though as I think about it I may have run 2 creatures, Death's-Head and Harbinger. I know Threaten, Dark Banishing, and Vicious Hunger were in it. Been a long while though.

I made a Bant helpful deck, not exactly budget but it does a lot more than draw for everyone. Elixir's are great to be able to recast spells, as well as the Wheel. http://www.mtgvault.com/lycandros/decks/a-little-too-helpful/
