Trying to beat delver decks. This could get there. Cavern was printed to give mana leak a kick to the nuts. By going tribal, you take away one of delvers most deadly combo's mana leak/snap caster. If cavern is going to help us with the mana leak, now we just have to worry about a tempo deck based off of an early 3/2, geist of St. traft, resto angel and a bunch of vapor snags and some equipment. With angels we are able to set up early defense with angelic wall. The earliest delver can beat down the wall without using a vapor snag is turn 4 by either going delver into equipment, or geist attack block angel. In either case it buys us time to start putting out our big boys. Each of the angel on this list is able to smash all delver threats on their own, except angel of jubilation whicch may be a reason to take her out. Sigarda seems to be a beast here since delver literally has no way to get her off the board, and can only attack through her with a sword attached. That seems good to me. Seraph Sanctuary, the crappy land from AR restored makes the cut here I think. Delver is a tempo deck, and tempo decks have a hard time with life gain. Seraph Sanctuary provides passive, uncounterable life gain that will add up over the course of the game. It also helps to mitigate vaporsnag damage since you are getting some value out of having to replay the creature, although it is as slight as you can get. Main deck naturalize, hell yeah! Lets face it, all the top tier decks have plenty of quality targets for naturalize. Birthing pod, swords, wild defiance, o ring, honor pure, intangible virtue ect. Two in the main could even be three. For the side board. Cathedral Sanctifier comes in for aggressive matchups, silverheart comes in against titans. O rings for esper control, prey upon for creature removal. I just made this deck and would really like to hear suggestions for how to improve it. But I would love it if the community would find a response to all this delver play!!
