Man I wish some of these cards were still in standard.

Have tried making a modern Vampire deck as well. Check it out:

Have found that its quite easy to get Bloodthrone to 11/11
Was thinking of splashing red for fling and burn
and / or trying tainted Strike for the Infect win!

???

Hey dude what kind of budget are you on?

Have you considered Elves? or would you prefer to keep it BIG green creature based?

Most expensive thing in Elves is probably Eldrazi Monument and Fauna Shaman.
Terrance Shields's Elves posted on Daily MTG (official) is pretty sick:

Land: 22

15  Forest
3  Oran-Rief, the Vastwood
4  Tectonic Edge

Creatures: 30

4  Arbor Elf
3  Copperhorn Scout
4  Elvish Archdruid
3  Ezuri, Renegade Leader
4  Fauna Shaman
4  Joraga Treespeaker
3  Joraga Warcaller
4  Llanowar Elves
1  Tajuru Preserver

Spells: 8

3  Eldrazi Monument
3  Garruk Wildspeaker
2  Genesis Wave

Sideboard:

2  Acidic Slime
3  Leatherback Baloth
4  Leyline of Vitality
2  Naturalize
3  Plummet
1  Tajuru Preserver

What are you talking about?

Koth is by far the most powerful Planeswalker in a mono red deck!

- 4 Vector Asp
- 4 Warren Instigator

+ 4 Darksteel Axe
+ 4 Goblin Gaveleer

+ 4 Memnite
Nice free drops that can go alongside a kicked bushwhacker and can contribute as artifacts.

- 4 Iron Myr
Not needed in a fast Red based Goblin build..

- 4 Liquimetal
- 4 Shatter
Shatter is good without the Liquimetal but its more a sideboard card.
Consider a few more equips like Darksteel Axe or like mentioned above Panic Spellbomb.

+4 Teetering Peaks
Bringing your Mana base up to 24, a good solid base.

- 4 Bloodshot Traniee (Flame Slash is way better)
+ 4 Goblin Guide (Best Goblin)

Some other considerations to go with the metalcraft:

Blade-Tribe Berserkers
Kuldotha Phoenix

+ 4 Warren Instigator
+ 4 Ember Hauler
+ 4 Goblin Bushwhacker
+ 4 Lightning Bolt / Assault Strobe

The perfect addition to this deck... Lux Cannon!
Combos really well with Voltaic Keys ^^

Umm the Memnites are what let you resolve Quest as early as turn 3.

Etched Champion is good but not in this deck (metalcraft build)
Cheap creatures to set off Quest like Ornithopter are better with Glint Hawk and Kor Skyfisher
recycling them.

I'd add a few Kor Duelists dude, and cut Skyfisher to 2 or 3 and add the sided sword of body and minds back in. Good to see another Ratchet Bomb enthusiast! ^^

Id side 3 each of Kor Firewalker and Devout Lightcaster

Not quite what I was hoping to see, been working on an aggressive life gain.
DeckID=104117

I'm starting to think a U/W control life gain with Felidar Sovereign is the way to go

Hey dude, I can appreciate that you want to run something a bit different to the standard Eldrazi, and Valakut Ramp decks but your deck needs more refining.

If you don't want to run Eldrazi I would bash the Rampaging Baloths and Overwhelming Stampede , with some Acidic Slime and Wurmcoil Engine's!

Just for your own reference and to get some ideas here is a good top tier Eldrazi Ramp deck:

Artifacts: 4

2x Everflowing Chalice
2x Wurmcoil Engine

Creatures: 15

4x Overgrown Battlement
4x Joraga Treespeaker
4x Primeval Titan
1x Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
1x Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
1x Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Land: 26

1x Mystifying Maze
1x Eye of Ugin
12x Forest
4x Tectonic Edge
4x Khalni Garden
4x Eldrazi Temple

Spells: 15

4x Summoning Trap
4x Growth Spasm
2x Cultivate
2x Explore
3x All Is Dust

Oh damn I see, will do then thanks for that.

Guess Ill stick with steppe then as it is more useful early on for the protection,
hence the non-block of the knights ^^

Ok thanks dude, yeah I was trying to replace it.

Mighty Leap came to mind but its just... mighty shit really lol

Just looking over it again and how about Ajani Goldmane?
2WW and can give life and +1/+1 to each creature as well as being a target (keep em off of exemplar)
