Sundering Titan is banned in EDH.

^here's the banned list

the banned list in EDH is simply a suggestion. The format is casual. many play groups have modified B/R lists.

that's the banned list for competitive EDH from WoTC, and all the casual groups I've played with follow that list, along with their own B/R list.

cool story bro. this is obviously not a competetive build.

not to mention the fact that youre wrong. that is NOT the competerive EDH B/R list, as competetive EDH is a 1v1 format, not a group play format, which the SUGGESTED B/R list was designed for. there is an entirely different B/R list for 1v1 duals, that includes such cards as Serra Ascendant and Sol ring. but thanks for setting me straight with your vast knowledge of the format.

I thought it was a cool story, I found 5 dollars too, but it didn't seem worth mentioning until now. I was just trying to help out so this guy didn't waste money on cards he wouldn't be able to use.

lol read my edit. also, how do you know hes spending money? most people build commander decks from the cards they have lying around, as was the original intention of the format.

Magicoke: the only real advice you should take from this is to check with the rules of your playgroup, but dont be surprised if they dont want to see that card. theres a reason its on the list.

I've played in sanctioned EDH tournaments and the link I posted is the list they told us to follow. I'm glad I could help you out though man, if you've got any more questions don't hesitate to ask. I'll help out if I can. Oh, and its competitive not "competerive". Spell check before you try to talk shit, you seem like an idiot.

you know how you know youre losing an argument? you start pointing out peoples typos. good job kid. you seem like a keyboard warrior. Youre a prime example of the difference between seeming like an idiot, and actually being one. Congrats though, im done with this nonsense. you can "win" if you like. hopefully that will fill the hole in your soul that being a loser in life has left open.

hahahahaha i hate it when people point out the typos. who gives a shit as long as you understand what the other people is saying then its all good.

But its so much fun seeing what you're gonna write back to me on this pointless argument. And you're the closest thing to a friend I've ever had, it's so lonely down here in my mom's basement. You can fill a hole for me though, i think I'd like that a lot, you seem like the dominant type I like.

magicoke: It was a 40 player tournament with 4 man pods. It was super fun, if you can find one id recommend playing.

the changes made look great. I would run Green Suns zenith over red, though. Both if you can find the room.

green sun's is a great suggestion. chord of calling would do great as well.

you could also work in a Grand Abolisher, hes helpful to deal with flash creatures and instant speed junk your oppnent tries to play on your turn

Condemn, Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares....any removal that has the work "Exile" instead of "Destroy" is great in EDH. destroy effects are good, but exile is gets around way more evasion.

Garruk Relentless is a card that cannot be in this deck as well, it is considered a green and black card. And just so everyone that has already commented I am not trying to get into it with anyone over ban list cards but I will leave my 2 cents. I would say that the ban list is not really something you have to stick to but it is best to ask the people you are playing with if
it's okay for you to run it if it is on the ban list before the game starts and if they say no then have a backup card with you to replace it. You would not want them to find out a banned card is in your deck in the middle of a game and someone say you have to scoop. Or for the group not to invite you back to play with them again. As for me my playgroup is all about casual EDH, so we might give each other a hard time about someone having a banned card in a deck and they might hear about it for a while but for the most part we will not get too upset. Its really all about actually looking at the ban list from time to time and being informed and knowing the rules that does a lot to keep the peace.

good catch on the Garruk. hes right. the Card Identity on the flip side of him is black (thats the little circle on the card ID line, the one that says "Planeswalker - Garruk") for the same reason, you can only run Elbrus, the Binding Blade in black decks.

i see the black color on my top left but i dont see Elbrus, the Binding Blade any where on my deck? wtf? is this program messed up or i just dont see that card.

0

no, Elbrus isnt in your deck, it was just another example of a card you COULD use, because of the front side color, but the color ID making in not fit the deck
