Really striving to get that win with Near-Death Experience. And it's actually pretty easy here... The basic combo is to have Near-Death Experience and a Souleater out. You need to get yourself to an odd number of life (Brushland, Windswept, Oracle of Nectars), and during the last possible chance during your opponent's turn, activate Souleater's ability until you are at 1 life. Orim's Chant (or Silence, which is much cheaper) helps make this much easier. Not only does Melira and, more importantly, Phyrexian Unlife give you an extra line of defense, if you should drop below 1 health, Oracle of Nectars can put you at 1 during your opponent's turn (again, Orim's Chant makes this easy.) Walls for thinning, mana ramp. Manamorphose for thinning and gaining necessary color mana. Tutors for Souleaters, Near Death and Phyrexian Unlife. Journey to Nowhere in SB for other threats (especially Linvala - she wrecks the Souleaters) This combo works suprisingly well. I'm glad I finally found a use for these Near-Deaths!

this is pretty cool I've never really tried to mess with Near-Death Experience too much. It would be pretty awesome to silence someone and then bring yourself to one life on their turn haha. Still weak to extraction though of course!
