seems like standard to me : / i might add some equipment/enchantments that benefits from dealing combat dmg; swords mostly... Feast and Famine or body and mind to provide targets for your Surgical's...
Without any Creature Defence you need to either pump up your creatures more or Control more. I have a deck very similar to this and used to run - Neurok Invisimancer & Trespassing Souleater but they are Very slow. I find that using Delver and Vault Skirge to be much faster and getting a flyer with a dark favor is often enough to win vs a lot of decks check out mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=282591
