Deck Description

Ok. This is a super random idea for a combo-deck based on the card Blood Hound. I'm not sure it will work; I don't have the cards for it right now. Any ideas or suggestions are very, very welcome.

The combo is to get Blood Hound out and Spirit link it. Using Blaze (or another card, I'm not sure yet), deal as much damage as possible to yourself. Blood hound will gain that many +1/+1 counters. Then, using creatures with provoke and wave of indifference, prevent any blockers and decimate the enemy. Holy day is useful early game for preventing too much damage to yourself, or if the enemy turns your combo around on you. Multiple Blood hound, spirit link, and blaze increases the effectiveness.

In any case, I'm not looking for people to say the idea is bad, I want suggestions on how to make it work. I don't look to win every game, I look to build creative decks.

Please give me any help you can :)

Deck discussion for Blood Hound

negative. if you arent dealt damage, the blood gets nothing. by using COP:red you are preventing the damage thus none is dealt to you.

Oh, ok. Thanks for letting me know instead of calling me dumb :) Any ideas for a different way to do this? Spirit link maybe?

another thing is you are using too many things for such a futile attempt to attack an opponet in a legacy standard deck, or type 1 for that matter.

I don't play standard, I play casually with friends. None of us use standard decks. I changed it a little, what do you think?

y not earthquake, it hits everything at once wich will trigger blood hounds abaility. you hit everything for 10, opponent is at 10, not very many creatures will survive a 10 earthquake and your blood hound will be 11/11, 11/1 with the damage on him. swing through unblocked

or how about balefire liege. when you play a red spell you can do 3 damage to yourself and make blood hound bigger or you opponent and gain 3 when you play a white spell

retaliator griffin is really good as well, the counters stay on, but you cant put them on (with earthquake for example)

I like retaliator griffin a lot but im still undecided as to whether I'm going to splash green in this deck. The mana searching capabilities might be very good though.

i recomend this combo incase ur opponent has a strong creature thts indestructable that you want gone, act of treason+fling you take over there creature, attack with it, then fling it at them and sacrifice it, its one of my favorite things to do with fling

also, maybe add in the card lifelink so u have a back up in case u dnt get spirit link, it does exactly wat its called, gives ur creature lifelink, and it cost 1 plains, just like spirit link
