Hi.

You may want to check out my Knight deck at http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=115472 as I have spent a LOT of time playing against some very nasty decks and have an excellent win/loss ratio.

Still, I like the Endless Horizons/Emeria combination.

A great start with what you have, now to perfect it!

Hi.

Thanks for the idea.

We don't have either of those cards so we proxied them. Nice combo, however the boy likes the idea of having a 20/20 indestructible flying creature out in turn 2. Any way you look at it without a RFG like swords or path you are professionally screwed.

Thank you for the comment on my sons deck. One question and three suggestions.

Question. Why add in a land tutor? Given that you are running an all black deck why would you need it? Statistically speaking you have as much chance of picking out an extra swamp as picking out the land tutor(but without the lost life). What am I missing?

Comment 1. Vampire Lacerator is a waste. By the time you are unaffected by it's life lost you should be looking to ramp your board position up big time(see comment 3).

Comment 2. Bloodghast is only half a card without being able to defend you.

Comment 3. Vampire Nocturnus is almost the best vampire card available. Having faced my son and having seen one appear on turn 2(using Dark Ritual) a number of times I KNOW how it feels to be beaten by one card.

If your serious about a vamp deck you should do some proxy testing with your friends. It needs some serious "ramping up" to go over the top. Good luck.
