While I initally considered bordeline unplayable, on Prerelease I remembered the power level increase of Slitherhead with the Corpsejack. 3 of them are going in, but in what place do you think they go: main, or SB?
instead of plummet put aerial predatation, you gain an extra 2 life
The problem comparing Plummet with Predation, is the same that plagues comparing Naturalize with Natural End: sure the lifegain could prove very useful, but is that minimal difference worth the extra mana? If I wanted pure life gain I would go for Gnaw to the Bone, as it is a instant, life gain only, that for only 3 mana, it could boost more than 12-14 life, and also has flashback to boot.
<3 ur deck btw im ordering it.... wouldnt it be better to have 2 sewer shambler and 4 dreg mangler, since a 3/3 with haste is better than a 2/1 with swampwalk (that is if you are not facing a guy with black mana) although i do realise the 3 mana scavenge for 2 +1/+1 counters would spread your mana curve.
The case with the Shamblers and Manglers, is of their Scavenge price, to spread the curve as much as possible to prevent mana problems, and because of the Shamblers evasion, that can serve pretty nicely. If you wish to cut down the shamblers, try to use an evasive (flying, unblockable, or intimidate) that can serve as a makeshift closer with the Scavenge counters (that happens to be the main idea of the deck).
