Deck discussion for tezzeret control new phyrexia version

i wpuld add a etched champion, or 3, since they work so well with tezz and are very hard to kill
i would maindeck 1 wurmcoil and a titan as well as get rid of red and replace it with counter spells
great deck idea and it has a lot of promise

if you wouldnt mind lookin at my birthing pod deck it would be greatly appreciated

a problem if they run etched champion is if it has metalcraft already active tezz can't make it a 5/5

:-P ran the grixis version with counterspells, and noticed I wanted to tap out almost evrey turn after turn 1... which left me with dead cards nine times outa ten I may end up putting wurmcoils in, for now I wanna try the batterskull first though. They serve the same role, anti agro, and I think batterskull is the stronger option. Can't really get rid of red... I need pyroclasm for early game kuldotha, elf, or RDW... black sun would kill my batterskull germs, or my vault skirges, which is why I'm not making it just BU... I don't want the titan though, the blue one would be useless to me since my magnets do the same thing, and the black one wouldn't do as much for me as say Karn who I would probably be dropping on about the same turn anyways..... and the 2/2's die to my pyroclasms :-P I ended up taking out the unwinding clocks... with my current level of instants, didn't really have a lot of reasons to untap my mana, which is what most of my artis are then replaced it with more mana artis yay turn 5 karn! :-P

might take out the tailsmen for chalices... they cost one more then my chalice kicked once (what I usually did for the kicker cost when playing chapin's version) I know more when I test it in RL...

sideboard, I might end up switching some.. depends on how much arti hate ends up going around.. if a lot, I'll toss in 2 more flashfreezes, and possibly 2 rebuttels for something.. not sure what yet :-P

hmmm, realized I forgot about my tec edges... valakut tis still too popular for me not to run em... so time to change up my mana base again :-P

realized galvanic blast was still a better option, 2 or 4 damage for 1 mana is still better then 3 mana 3 damage and proliferate... took out spellskites... not as good as I had hoped for in my testing, replaced em with 2 more flashfreezes (what can I say, Valukut and bug scare the heck outta me)... also took out a chalice and my probe for 2 opals... this is what I'll be taking to the various PTQ's for philly ;) hopefully I'll top 8 the first one so I don't have to drive everywhere else...
