u/w/g caw-blade? in standard? really want to make this work, but it's gunna take a whole lot of playtesting and editing and some constructive criticism. Thoughts anyone? is lotus cobra better suited for this deck? birds of paradise? gideon? tumble magnet? a list without counters? baneslayer angel instead of batterskull since it can be tutored for with fauna shaman?

Keep the batterskull in, more stuff for stoneforge to search for instead of the Shaman. YOu also seem to have a ton of one-ofs which personally I never do as the chances of getting them are so slim that they're hardly worth running.

so play 3 condemn and no beast within? and -1 glacial fortress for +1 collonade?
i would maybe put in some more control cards like maybe spell pierce or cancel or negate, just to help you get out things like your vengevine and if necessary a second creature to bring back a vengevine, also i would consider something like birds of paradise or llanowar elves and possibly lotus cobra
yeah man birds is sick but what to take out? and i really like the counters, especially pierce and deprive, but it's just so hard to make room. plus flooding the 2 drop spot isn't something i really wanna do. 12 is already pushing it, and there is 16 if you include mana leak. i just want to guarantee a turn 2 mystic or fauna shaman. lotus cobra could definitely make this deck sick though. i'll have to test it out. i just built grixis tonight though, and am having fun winning with mountains and tar pits hahah. i hope i can get around to testing this soon though. i just hope there is enough removal honestly. thats my biggest fear.
Try to add primeval titan. 2 tectonic edges against caw blade is epic!
